Greetings Decision maker,

As I described in the previous Wise Decision Maker Guide, the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic will impact our daily lives for years, not months: it’s not an emergency, it’s the new normal. Our relationships will be devastated by this crisis if we don’t take proactive steps right now to save them.

That’s because the extensive social distancing measures will make it very difficult to maintain our relationships with family members, friends, colleagues, collaborators, and just about everyone else. If you want to protect your relationships from the dangers of the new normal, it’s important to create a plan for doing so.

What’s Up With Me

My mind has been on my dad’s illness. He’s 79, lives in the pandemic hotspot of NYC, and very likely has COVID-19, based on symptoms like shortness of breath. My mom is taking care of him and debating whether to take him to the hospital. I hope he’ll be okay. Send good wishes his way.
