Greetings Decision Maker,

You open your email and your stress level spikes: it’s another email titled “Can I work from home tomorrow?” It’s one of several you received in the last month: a relentless march of requests for remote work that ask for one-off exceptions to your policy. So, what's the deal? This constant barrage isn't just a logistical headache. It's a flashing red warning light, signaling a deeper issue. Your employees aren’t buying into your company’s remote work policy. This is a problem you need to take charge of, immediately.

Recommendation from Brandie Laughner, President of VLERA, for Dr. Gleb Tsipursky

“We had the pleasure of co-hosting a webinar that was presented by Dr. Gleb. This webinar, using hybrid work to improve retention and productivity while cutting costs, was an excellent experience. He presented his research in a thoughtful and engaging way. He engaged with his attendees. He also gave them the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback at the end of the webinar. As a result, the survey feedback that we received following Dr. Gleb's presentation was resoundingly positive. If you have the opportunity to work with Dr. Gleb, whether as a presenter or consultant in your organization, I highly recommend it.””

What's Up With Me

We are now fully in the swing of the holiday season. While many of you just finished celebrating Thanksgiving and are getting ready for Christmas, I am currently preparing for my own main event. My family immigrated from Eastern Europe when I was 10 (my dad is Ukrainian, my mom Moldovan), so we never celebrated Thanksgiving. For us, the big holiday is New Year’s Eve, where families get together to celebrate and exchange gifts.

That said, my time in Columbus, Ohio, has given me an appreciation for the American tradition of gratitude that Thanksgiving offers. Friends often invite me to their Thanksgiving dinners, where we share what we appreciate about the year, and this year was no different. I find that gratitude is not an intuitive attitude for me, so I value the prompt to reflect. As we navigate the busy weeks ahead, I hope you can find a quiet moment to appreciate where you are right now.
