Disaster Avoidance Experts

Greetings Decision maker,

As the incoming Trump administration prepares to confront China’s growing global influence, it is imperative to base strategies on accurate assessments of domestic capabilities. Recent narratives, such as those propagated by conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, misrepresent the reality of federal telework and also risk weakening the United States’ position in its strategic competition with China.

Kirk claimed that federal employees are overwhelmingly teleworking - suggesting that 85% of federal workers work from home and only report to an office once a month. Yet recent data from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) dismantles these misconceptions, painting a far different picture. By the end of 2022, only 22% of federal employees typically teleworked, according to the CBO report. This figure is lower than the 25% of private-sector employees who engaged in remote work during the same period. The data directly contradicts the notion that federal employees have adopted telework practices at a greater rate than their private-sector peers.

Testimonial by Madison Ongstad, Learning Manager of Arizona Society of CPAs, for Dr. Gleb Tsipursky

“We had Dr. Gleb come out to Arizona to present to our members at our annual conference, and he greatly exceeded our expectations. We received fabulous reviews about how insightful it was and how it challenged our audience to think differently and explore the new ideas that Dr. Gleb discussed. Working with Dr. Gleb to prepare was a pleasure. He thoroughly customized his remarks well to address the needs of the many different CPAs and finance professionals we had attending. Dr. Gleb's highly engaging and dynamic delivery impressed our attendees. I strongly recommend him for anyone who's seeking a leadership speaker who speaks to the analytical mind.‌”

What's Up With Me

I learned about the wildfires in Los Angeles shortly before I was scheduled to travel there to give several talks, and as my plane was landing I saw the smoke rising from the city. My first two events were cancelled due to the fires, and one of those was literally cancelled in the morning, as I was preparing to put on my suit. I have a few more events scheduled, we'll see what happens with those. This experience reminded me that what may be an inconvenience and financial setback to me is a terrible tragedy for others, costing homes and even lives. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this disaster.
