Greetings Decision Maker,
While the momentum towards policies mandating a return to the office (RTO) is gaining traction, this shift risks overlooking critical segments of the workforce. In particular, older employees, individuals with disabilities, and women are vulnerable under such policies, even though their participation in the workforce is crucial. The nuanced repercussions of forced RTO on these groups, illuminated by empirical evidence, call for a deeper examination and advocate for a more inclusive approach to workplace arrangements.

"I want to express my sincere appreciation for the training that Dr. Gleb put together for our group as a train-the-trainer on hybrid work. We really took a lot from it and found it really valuable. Two of the key areas for us were the way that it provided some very practical advice on how to operationalize hybrid work and train our supervisors on the approach related to that, as well as the insights related to data. And really connecting that and laying a foundation for our supervisors to really understand the impact that hybrid work is having and the way that the best practices are supported based on the research and the studies that are currently happening. We took a lot from it and really appreciate the investment and the time."

It was scary to watch the events unfolding in the Middle East in the last two weeks. As someone with distant relatives in Israel - and with my wife having closer family in Israel - Iran’s missiles and drones were certainly worrying. It added to my sense of danger for my family members, given I still have some relatives in Kyiv and L’viv. I really hope that the ceasefire in the Israel/Iran war will hold. |
